Great location near the metro for getting around the city. Lots of area restaurants and a clean laundromat is nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff. The morning breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide selection to choose from. Excellent bed. Recommended. Will stay here again!

Excellent location near the Latin quarter which is a vibrant area with lots of great restaurants. Very safe feeling and clean area. We chose the hotel for its classic styling versus a modern vibe since we felt more old world Europe and romantic. The hotel is older but beautifully maintained. The staff were very helpful. Especially great getting taxi at busy times. Air conditioning worked well but could also open windows. Very very quiet when windows are closed. When open average noise level. Room has small but bed was comfortable and shower very good. Lovely small brand new spa area (no jacuzzi) which is free and you just sign up for a daily time slot if you want so it is private use for you only. We had massages which were very good. We didn't eat at restaurant since always on the move. If you want sterile modern vibe this is not for you.

We recently stayed for three nights at Hotel and Spa St Jacques and were very pleased with our choice. The hotel is central making it easy to access activities. Staff were lovely and the morning breakfast was excellent. We would stay here again.

Excellent location in the Latin Quarter, the 5th Arr., this sweet small hotel & Spa is close to the Sorbonne and a few minutes walk to the Seine, Notre Dame and the Isle de Saint-Louis. Metro is closeby as well. While the hotel overall is slightly aging, but with grace and dignity, the bathroom in our room was updated and modern (yes, showers are a little smaller here). Even had a balcony we could step out onto and sit at. Breakfast was wonderful. Front desk was 24/7 and always friendly and helpful. Spa facilities are available. Happy to have chosen the Saint-Jacques for many reasons.

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. We booked the family room (two rooms right next to each other) for a family of 5. The service was impeccable, breakfast was good, and the location was amazing. Highly recommend.

A cosy little boutique hotel in a great location. Having visited Paris at least 10 times previously, this was the first time we chose to stay in the Latin Quarter, and fell in love with it immediately. Full of life, buzz and of course students from the University and Sorbonne.
It was wonderful to relax in the steam room and sauna for a 45 minutes private session after a day of walking around.

We stumbled on this hotel when we were looking at a sister hotel in another neighborhood, and I'm so glad we did. It is absolutely charming - we had a "Privilege" room, and found it quite roomy and comfortable (less expensive rooms might be smaller). There's a lovely little bar in the reception area for guests. Staff was very good - helped us print out our tix to the Notre Dame. The best part of the hotel is the location - you are two blocks from Blvd. St. Germain, can walk to Notre Dame, very near the Metro. We loved it here (oh, and teh toiletries in teh bathroom are great!)

My teen daughter and I spent a week here in March 2025 and it was everything we had hoped it would be! The hotel itself is beautiful and has so much character and it’s located in a neighborhood with top of the line restaurants and also close to quite a few monuments and tourist interest places. The staff is friendly and helpful. We did breakfast at the hotel and every morning the food was fresh and delicious, We can’t say enough good things! Will definitely be back.

We were able to check in earlier than the established time, the receptionists were very attentive and friendly, the cleanliness was impeccable, and the location was excellent, with several restaurant options around and right next to the train station.

Very good hotel at a fair price, beautiful rooms with moulding on the ceiling. The room had a good size compared to many other hotels. The area is pretty enjoyable too, at 2 steps of the Pantheon, and a few streets from the latin district.
There is an amazing restaurant on the other side of the street.

Hotel Saint-Jacques is a charming, yet modern hotel in the Latin Quarter near the Sorbonne. The location was perfect, the staff very congenial and amenities were excellent. I was very happy with my stay and would choose it again in the future.

I stayed here with three friends as part of my 50th birthday celebrations and I couldn’t have hoped for a lovelier hotel. It was just what we were looking for - traditionally French, beautiful decor throughout, rooms overlooking the Parisian streets with cute balconies. Just wonderful. The breakfast buffet was so well appointed and beautifully fresh. The whole experience, location, cleanliness, comfort and the friendly staff made it a wonderful and memorable trip.

Very cosy hotel. Enjoyed the spa facilties. Breakfast good. Definitely worth a visit. Would like to come back.

Always wonderful to return to Saint -Jacques- this was our 4th time and it was wonderful. Staff are friendly and welcoming, rooms are as pictured and the location is ideal.

I stayed 8 nights in this magical adorable hotel. This was the first time that I had traveled abroad alone. The reception was always welcoming and eager to please. I especially enjoyed Doa. I had a nearby choice of several bus lines, metros and restaurants. I felt very safe in the neighborhood which is mostly schools, bookstores and restaurants. It was a very convenient location. The room service was consistent and I always returned to a properly cleaned room. Although the room and shower are very small, even for one little person, it was, as the French would say, correct.

I had a very good and memorable stay at Hotel & Spa. I liked the cleanliness, finely decorative, nice rooms and the Spa.
Thanks to the warm and highly hospitable staff especially Doa, the receptionist. Looking forward to another visit soon.

This hotel was delightful with 24 hr reception and a great location for our visit. Minutes from the Latin quarter and on the door steps of the Metro.
Our room was perfect with old style charm, modern amenities and a door key from the Harry Potter movies.
Definitely recommend.

We only stayed one night but would definitely stay again on a future trip to Paris. Our room was very clean and quiet, even though it faced the street. The lady at the front desk was very helpful with restaurant recommendations, directions, etc. Our room had a lovely mural and gingerbread on the ceiling. Great location for sightseeing and taking public transit around the city.

Who could have imagined that we would stay at Hotel & Spa St. Jacques not once but twice in 2024? "C'est la vie," I guess. Longtime dear local friends recommend the St. Jacques to us for our earlier, late-May visit, and we loved the place so much that we rebooked it for two nights this past week on the tail end of a Normandy/D-Day sites visit. The rooms are cozy and artfully appointed; the lobby is small, but warm (with a bar for guests, to boot); the breakfasts are hearty and well-prepared; and the Spa is, apparently, a recent innovation here--and it's great, and it's private. And let's not forget the staff, who are uniformaly affable and helpful. The St. Jacques will always be our Paris home away from home!

Great location for walking around the city. The staff were absolutely lovely, always helpful and made us feel very welcome. We loved our stay here and would book again.

My wife and I travel globally and have been a key contributor to building the largest travel club in the world. Every property has its pros and cons with none being perfect. Yet, for 5 days/4 nights, we were surprised to delight in our initial stay at Hotel & Spa Saint-Jacques! Room was an eye opener upon initial entry with an elegance typically reserved for higher priced properties. Size was good compared to most in Paris. Bath was nice, though the toilet location was tight. The spa is very nice, especially the "snow machine" and we recommend to future visitors to enjoy that amenity. Location is perfect as we always enjoy the Latin Quarter, Le Marias and the Le Jardin Luxembourg/6th Arrondissement so with easy walking distance to each from the property was so nice to experience. The best part is the staff --- they cared about our experience. 24 hours a day the staff was friendly and helpful...seriously---they care about your experience. We come to Paris consistently in our travels and will make this property our 1st choice each trip.

The staff was very kind, helpful, and patient. The breakfast each morning was excellent. They even surprised us with champagne one day. We thought the room keys were the coolest hotel keys we had ever seen. The décor and architecture of the building and the rooms was very nice.

Absolutely adored this hotel for so many reasons. The location is amazing, nearby so many great landmarks and neighborhoods. We walked to a lot of the destinations. Hotel staff was very friendly & helpful with great tips. Breakfast was a good addition as well, lots of cheeses & fruits. Rooms were small but all that you needed.

Hotel is 1 block from the Pantheon, 1 block from the Metro, Sorbonne, 4 blocks from the Seine and Notre Dame. We had the best room in the hotel, #8, 3rd floor with a 25' balcony on the corner. Many restaurant very close by. Great staff. No hidden charges.
Small fridge provided. I will stay there next time for sure, as the Latin Quarter is a great place to be.

Saint-Jacques spa hotel with a privileged location in Paris, is perfection in comfort, service and the helpfulness of its staff towards guests, always suggesting charming walks around the city. Staying at this hotel means experiencing the true atmosphere of French life, with its attentive staff and period decor, as well as a delicious breakfast, a true brunch, and the availability of a relaxing spa to “ recharge the battery” for the following tours.

Beautiful bespoke boutique hotel in the 5th Arondissment of Paris. I would describe this hotel as "small but perfectly formed". Our room was beautiful overlooking the street. Ornate plasterwork ceiling with fresco type painting on the ceiling and one wall. Beautiful fresh cotton bed linen and nice pretty bespoke pieces of furniture. Room had tea coffee and water with little treats provided daily. This hotel has a mini spa area with steam room and sauna and also offers spa treatments at a cost. There is a Bar/lounge area opposite reception to relax and offers bar faciities also. Breakfast was continental served in the Basement - a beautiful room with little bistro tables and food was excellent fresh offering fresh fruit platters, salad, cous cous salad, meat platter, cheese platter, smoked salmon, porridge, youghurts, nuts, muesli, scrambled eggs, breads and pastries and jams. Beautiful freshly made coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Service was excellent and efficient. 5 minutes walk to the Restaurant area in the Latin Quarter where all of the restaurants offer 3 course meals from 14.50 to 29.00 excellent value and a lovely area to walk around and soak up the atmosphere.

The Hotel & Spa Saint-Jacques will forever be our destination when we visit Paris! Its location--so close to the Sorbonne, Pantheon, Luxembourg Gardens, Isle de la Cite and Notre-Dame Cathedral--is admirable. The neighborhood is friendly and down-to-earth, with an excellent bistro (La Petite Perigourdine) just across the street. The rooms are artfully appointed, and that is no pun! Daily breakfasts are hearty and well-prepared, and the well-designed spa was a happy surprise. The hotel deserves its 4-star rating, indeed.

Saint Jacques is a gem of a boutique hotel nestled in a historic building, exuding charm and elegance. The Belle Époque room decor perfectly complements the building's character. Opting for the Privilege Double room was a brilliant choice; it was impeccably clean, cozy, and spacious. The check-in process was a breeze, thanks to the efficiency of the staff.

Doa at the reception truly went above and beyond, securing us a room with a balcony boasting breathtaking views of both Notre Dame and the Pantheon. We were pleasantly surprised to find a chilled bottle of champagne awaiting us upon our return from the long walk to our room.

The hotel's complimentary spa, complete with dry and wet saunas, provided a much-needed respite after exploring the charming streets of Paris. The warmth and hospitality extended by both Doa and Khatia made us feel like cherished guests in a friendly home away from home. We can't wait to return to Saint Jacques for another unforgettable stay!

Lovely lovely staff! A beautiful lady at the reception is very helpful. I arrived at 8 am - check in time is at 15.00 - and the lady allowed me to have my room! It’s very clean and cozy. And I loved the area: in a quieter side, yet very central and next to Notre Dame. This would be my go to place in Paris. Look forward to going back.

My wife and I had 3 lovely nights in Paris and really enjoyed the hotel's central location in the Latin Quarter.

Our Paris trip was absolutely magical, and this hotel was a big part of it. The location was amazing, everything was spotless, and the atmosphere was incredibly charming. But what really stood out was the staff—they were incredible. Friendly, patient, and always ready to help, they made our stay feel like a breeze. Whether it was arranging reservations, working around our schedule, or lending us a plug adapter, they went above and beyond. We were so grateful that we even picked up some flowers to show our appreciation. Thank you.

This hotel is all you need is Paris. Great location in the heart of Latin Quater, near 3 metro stations. Hotel is clean, comfortable. Great view and little balcony with Privilage Room. After long walks you can chill in the saunas. Very nice breakfast is also worth mentioning, eggs, hams, variety of French cheese and fresh fruits. We had an amazing stay and will recommend to everyone!

This is the perfect hotel to stay in Paris. Situated in a central location, close to Metro, is within walking distance to landmarks such as Pantheon, Jardins du Luxembourg, La Sorbonne and Notre Dame to name a few. Nearby there are a lot a restaurants, cafés and convenience stores.The rooms are wonderfully decorated with painted walls and molded ceilings and very clean too. The stuff is friendly and accommodating, the breakfast has many options and the (free) access to the spa a nice add on and a must try. Would definitively stay again!

This was our first time in Paris and I did a ton of research for where to stay (which arrondissement) to be able to walk many places & avoid paying a ton in taxis. Hotel & Spa Saint Jacques was perfect! We could walk to Notre Dame, Louvre, and rode line bikes to the Eiffel Tower. We also did the 6th top floor (rode elevator to 5th then up about 15 stairs not too bad & only twice with luggage). It was so worth it as our room had a beautiful balcony with a view of Panthenon and Notre Dame. Our room also had a bathtub which I learned can be hard to find in Paris. The spa room with saunas, steam shower, etc were amazing esp the first day we got in after traveling it felt good to warm up. All of the staff was so friendly and accommodating, we highly recommend.

This is a small, charming hotel with a friendly, attentive, and helpful staff in an ideal location. The rooms are attractively decorated; the buffet breakfast is superb, and the prices reasonable for a four star hotel. We made last minute reservations, not knowing what to expect, and were delighted with our discovery. The clientele is international-not just American tourists-another plus. We will recommend this hotel to our friends, and hope to return. BTW, the onion soup (via room service) was far better than the same dish at the restaurant across the street.)

My family has been to this Hotel 3 times. Would not consider staying anywhere else. From the staff to the location, to the amenities it is all beyond excellent in our opinion. The newer addition of the spa is an added bonus!

I have stayed here a few times now, there’s always a friendly welcome. Great view from the balcony in our room towards Le Panthéon. Great location with lots of good restaurants and just short walk to Notre Dame and easy to get around from the nearby metro. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great room! Beautiful staircase! I stayed here with my mom who has mobility issues. The staff was so helpful and kind to these American ladies who are not good at French. The location is so close to many places, Notre Dame, the Sorbonne & Eiffel Tower, & the Louvre. Several good restaurants nearby too!

I stayed just one night at Hotel Saint-Jacques during a long layover in Paris and found it comfortable, convenient, and welcoming.

It took me about 15 minutes to walk to the hotel from Saint-Michel Notre-Dame RER station, after taking the train directly from CDG airport to central Paris. I was greeted warmly when I arrived at the hotel. The lobby is small but nicely decorated. The elevator to upper floors is small, as is typical in old buildings, but it worked well. My room was actually a big larger than I expected for Paris, where tiny rooms are the norm. It was perfect for one person. Despite looking out on the intersection of Rue des Ecoles and Rue des Carmes, the room was very quiet and I slept well. In the morning, complimentary breakfast was provided on the hotel's lower level. There was a good array of food items to choose from, and coffee was served by hotel staff. Hotel Saint-Jacques is in a wonderful location in the 5th Arr., so it was easy to walk to everything. This hotel was a great place to stay during this quick trip, and I would definitely return.

I am a regular at Hotel & Spa Saint-Jaques: great location in the heart of the 5th arrondissement, friendly and professional staff, clean fun rooms, and nice facilities for a reasonable price make this the perfect place to stay for work or vacation. Highly reccommended.

Wonderful breakfast with a wide selecton of "gourmandises" and just perfect coffee and espresso. the cherry on the cake is a magnifique SPA and SAUNA, which I had on two mornings (hammam and finish sauna with a surprice: snow muntain to cool down)! Just a perfect start to a superb day in Paris. I will be back for sure!

I stayed at the Hotel and Spa Saint-Jaques for just one night prior to a flight home after travelling up from Lyon. Everything about my stay was excellent from the wonderfully helpful and friendly staff to the facilities throughout. Everything was spotless, my room excellent and the surrounding area great for all amenities. Quick walk to Notre Dame and thus central Paris and local metro access less than 5 mins away.

I am now a regular at this hotel and every time my first impressions are confirmed: the location is unbeatable, in the heart of the 5th arrondissement and yet not in its possible chaos and with convenient connections via the metro to any interesting destination in Paris. The staff is highly professional and very friendly and goes out of its way to make the stay enjoyable. The spa is small but nice.

Central location 5 minutes walking distance to Notre Dame. Lots of restaurants to choose from, great restaurant just next door. Hotel staff very friendly and hospitable. Spacious room and bathroom considering it's Paris! Very clean. Lot's to choose from at Breakfast. Beds comfortable but you need earplugs if you wake easily from noise on street. We had a great time, Definitely will be back!

An old but very charming building, in an excellent location for touring city centre Paris. Hotel was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Didn't eat in the hotel but plenty of choice nearby for all meals. Rooms were small but to be expected for Paris hotel in an old building

The description of this hotel on TripAdvisor is absolutely spot on.

1. The 'neighborhood' location is unbeatable given its proximity to so many landmarks, conveniences, rail, local food and beverage purveyors, restaurants, etc.

2. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, historic, and the rooms are elegant, large for Paris, and each room is uniquely ecorated in classic Paris fashion. It's like you're walking into a hotel from 100 years ago, BUT, each room has every modern convenience in the seemingly brand new bathrooms, and the rooms and entire hotel are spectacularly clean. We were lucky enough to have balconies in our rooms and we enjoyed morning and evening coffee, wine, and cheese overlooking the neighborhood streets below, with views of Notre Dame and the Pantheon.

3. As soon as we arrived, the front desk staff, including Katya and all, was helpful guiding us to local places to see, walking us through the rail app (including perfect train directions to Versailles, which was our first stop while we waited for our room), assisting us with reservations for a Seine river cruise, fixing a drink, etc!

4. If you like breakfast, definitely get the breakfast option, the service was again awesome, the variety and quality of food was beyond our expectations, and the setting was again picturesque and quaint.

5. I rarely stay at the same place twice, but this neighborhood gem will be an exception for sure!

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights as a female sole traveller and I felt very safe both within the hotel and when exploring the area. The hotel is in a fabulous location with lots of lovely restaurants close by and a short stroll to Notre Dame and the Pantheon. The breakfast was perfect for me as I love cheese and ham when I am away and there was plenty of choice. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. If I return to Paris I will definitely stay again.

This was our second visit to this hotel, the first being in May of 2011. Our room was up to date, with a beautiful and very functional bathroom. Every room has a terrace overlooking the street. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and the maid service is excellent. We can't wait to book a return stay!

My sister and I stayed in a Premium Twin room for 8 nights in September.

We arrived a few hours before check-in time, but our room was ready. The hotel had a small elevator to bring us up to our floor. The halls are very small. As mentioned in many reviews, this hotel does use an actual key to unlock and lock the door. The room itself was very cute. We had to push the beds apart, but it was no issue. There was a desk, an armoire, build in hidden shelves, and a luggage rack. We had no problem finding spaces for our belongings. While the room was snug, there was plenty of space for the two of us.

The hotel staff was very friendly. They ask you to hand in your key if you leave for the evening. I never had an issue with them not being present when I arrived back at the hotel, but my sister sometimes arrived a little later in the evening and would need to ring the bell. I’m not sure what you are supposed to do when you have 2 people on different schedules and only 1 key, we felt safe enough in this hotel to just keep the door unlocked for the other person arriving- but we never asked the staff what to do in that circumstance.

The hotel is also in a great location. It is close enough to walk to the Pantheon, Notre Dame area, etc. The local neighborhood is very nice and felt safe walking around. It is also very close to train stations. We dined at many local restaurants. There is a bakery 1 block to the left and across the street we got breakfast at most mornings. We did not try the hotel breakfast.

We would highly recommend the hotel. However, if you are traveling with someone who is on a different schedule then you- maybe get 2 rooms or ask if there is a 2nd key!

This quaint hotel is in a safe neighbourhood in the Latin Quarter. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. There were three of us in the room. The room was lovely… it is small , but this is what we expected, so we were not disappointed. It is very easy to use the Metro from this location…just a short walk and there is a amazing boullangerie just outside the station for you to grad a quick croissant (or other savoury treat) before heading out for your day.

If you want a hotel that makes you feel the pleasure of living Paris? this is the Hotel Saint-Jacques. Always friendly staff, dreamy breakfast, clean and comfortable apartments with perfect air conditioning, which is important in summer in Paris, as well as a SPA area with a nice sauna and a privileged location in the heart of the Latin Quarter, I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The hotel is full of charm, the staff is friendly and attentive and the location is so convenient to the Pantheon (right up the street), Notre Dame, Musee d'Orsay, the Louvre, etc. The Latin Quarter is full of lovely restaurants, cinemas and markets, all at your doorstep

We always like to stay at thr St Jacques Hotel. We have returned 8 times now over the years. The rooms are pleasant and the staff is always great. The front desk is helpful with arranging taxis or answering questions, and the central location is perfect for exploring Paris.

What a lovely hotel in so many ways - perfect location, great cafes and restaurants nearby, close proximity and walking distance to Pantheon, wonderful staff (especially Katia), relaxing spa, and beautiful, beautiful room!!! We were celebrating my daughter’s 25th birthday and they went above and beyond !! I cannot say enough about this hotel, and would definitely return here the next time I visit Paris!

The rooms and hotel amenities are very nice and the staff are accommodating and responsive. We had several requests from can’t open the lock box (user error) to needing a taxi and they immediately helped us with each request. We will definitely stay here when we return to Paris in the future!

This is the loveliest hotel I have ever stayed in and perfectly positioned. Very french chic!!I Felt very safe as a solo traveller. The staff were so very welcoming and I couldn't thank them enough for being so friendly. I used the spa which was everything I needed after walking in this beautiful city. Our trip was made even better by the kind of care we received from the hotel team. The front desk staff are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. We loved the spa! We loved the lobby and having coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. We were so charmed by the old fashioned keys that encourage ongoing interaction with the hotels team. It made us always feel so welcome! Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Excellent location, very helpful staff -- extra effort to accommodate my needs, even after I checked out. Took excellent care of four requests I had during my stay, responded immediately to all my msgs. I used the spa several times, and it was very pleasant.

Rooms - good size, very clean, had a special feel to them.
Bed - pillows, mattress - comfortable.
Breakfast - very good - good selection, always topped up even until the end (10.30 h.).
Service at the hotel - very friendly, yet professional, courteous and efficient; they do appreciate their guests.

The staff was so kind and helpful. I hurt my knee during our trip and they were kind enough to bag up ice each night for me. The room was always clean and tidy each evening when we returned from a day of exploring. Food in the morning was fresh and tasty. Coffee was perfect.
This is a taste of Paris, smaller rooms, well decorated and comfortable, kind and helpful staff, set in a neighborhood with restaurants and shops. Loved it!
This is not Marriott or Hyatt experience, so if that's what you want, you won't get it here.

Our first time in Paris and we could not have asked for a better hotel! Saint-Jacques is charming in every way, and the location in Saint Germain area is perfect. We had our college aged daughter with us and stayed in a very comfortable room with three beds. We will stay again when returning to Paris.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room and public areas clean and charming. Location was perfect. Only difficulty was the last of storage ( like a dresser for unpacking clothing) but only a small inconvenience. We will highly recommend the Hotel & Spa Sainte Jacque to everyone. A special thank you for managing to get us into our room early upon arrival. It was so appreciated

Very friendly and clean hotel nothing to much trouble I liked the fact you had to hand your key in reception everytime you went out.
Breakfast was lots of variety very pleasant.
Cleaners came in everyday topped up tea and coffee, shampoo conditioner changed towels made bed.

Perfect stay! What I loved most:
1. Historical interior. You could feel Epoch.
2. Spa Very relaxing after long day in city to have such a procedure.
3. Cleanness. Every day cleaning!
4. Service. Staff is very polite, speaks English and ready to help in everything!

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring all of Paris. It has great transport links with the metro very close by. There are loads of places to eat and drink in close proximity of the hotel.
The hotel is lovely and has everything you need. Nice rooms, very clean. The staff are amazing as well, so welcoming and very helpful.
Breakfast was great, you have everything you would hope for in a continental breakfast, all very fresh as well.

Me and my partner stayed here for our ten year anniversary on our trip to Paris. Well located, beautiful rooms and with a very friendly staff I'd highly recommend staying here. Having coffee on the balcony and watching Paris go by is well worth the stay alone. Plus the hotel aesthetic is fantastic, our room design was gorgeous and very individual.

Our room was absolutely spotless - such a clean hotel. The view was beautiful as we looked out our windows. The staff were so very friendly, helpful, and pleasant. The location was super walkable and surrounded by great food and attractions, yet also tucked back in a very quiet area. We had no issues with noise inside or outside of the hotel. Such a beautiful stay and would absolutely come back! Oh yeah, the spa which includes a steam room, sauna, temperature therapy shower, and snow to apply to your skin after the heat therapy was such a great luxury to have. You're allowed an hour per session which was so much more than we needed. This hotel is absolutely amazing!

This hotel is just amazing. Very clean, very intimate, but what really makes the difference is the personal. I was really well received by Doa she checked me in, I was alone she made me feel like it was to easy to be there and meet Paris. After I meet Katia and she was another star with her kindness and recomendations... I'll be back for sure, mostly because of staff that make me feel like home

Excellent hotel in the (quieter) heart of the fifth arrondissement, a short walk from restaurants and museums, with a nearby metro stop. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional, ready to accommodate guest's needs/requests. Great ambiance and value for money!

This hotel is quaint and has an authentic Parisian feel. The size/number of rooms was a plus for me as I always want to stay in a memorable hotel when I travel rather than a large chain.

The room was a bit small but perfect for my fiancé and I. Although it feels like an old building, it was clean and comfortable. We had a Juliet balcony and were able to look out into the city in the mornings. The concierge was super friendly and helpful during our stay. Great location in the Latin Quarter. We were able to walk to most of the activities we planned; others were a very quick train or cab ride. They also offered free wifi.

The hotel is in a prime area - close walk to shopping, dining, and the university. The building is quaint with a vintage feel. Robust WiFi and very friendly, accommodating staff. The room is selected was small, yet comfortable and cozy. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

We loved our 2 night stay at the hotel, it has a relaxed atmosphere. Lovely friendly staff, great location for metro and getting around Paris. Good breakfast selection and service. Would highly recommend to anyone and would love to come back ourselves.

Lovely hotel full of old world charm. Rooms are quaint and charming, on the smaller side compared to other commercial hotels. Don’t come to this hotel with new world expectations. This hotel far exceeds others in terms of ambiance, service and beauty. The staff are truly wonderful, Doha (excuse the spelling) was thoroughly helpful and welcoming. I’ll come back again for sure.

Great location. Friendly staff. Clean. Would go back there again. A 2 minute walk to the best croissants we’ve ever had. Plus next door there was a fromagerie, charcuterie and Boulanger. Perfect if you want a quick bite on the go.

We had a long postponed Paris weekend and chose Hotel St Jacques as it was near the centre of Paris but not on top of the busy tourist areas. It’s location is in Rue des Ecoles which is one street away from the Sorbonne so the area buzzed with students young and old. This meant of course plenty of bars, cafés and restaurants, all attractive and enticing. The welcome from the hotel was friendly. We had a decent sized en suite room on the first floor (thankfully as there are 6 or 7 floors and one v small and slow lift). The room was comfortable and quiet even though it overlooked the street. Breakfast was very good and served between 7-10.30 so very civilised for the lazy tourist. The Luxembourg Gardens are only a short distance away and are clearly very popular with the local Parisians. We were lucky enough to hear a free one hour concert from an amateur brass orchestra on the Sunday morning there. The hotel is only a short walk from Notre Dame as well.
Would definitely stay there again.

We had the great pleasure of staying at this wonderful boutique hotel located in the Latin Quarter, close to Notre Dame Cathedral. Our room was quaint and nicely appointed, with an excellent housekeeping staff to accompany it. The spa facility is small in size, but is efficient in delivering a very nice experience, relaxing and comfortable, with both a sauna and steam room.
What puts this hotel over the top for us though, is the hotel staff. I cannot express enough about the fantastic client service they provide. Being both extremely professional and courteous to their guests. Dora, Katia, and Arezki always went out of their way to accommodate any guest s' questions or concerns. Their helpfulness was a very positive factor in contributing to a fantastic stay at this hotel. Arranging hotel transport to from the airport, recommending cafes and restaurants, ensuring their guests received the highest level of customer service, were all done with great professional courtesy. they made you feel special by choosing their hotel.
I would highly recommend St. Jacques if you are looking for a great little boutique hotel with an excellent location and a very professional and courteous staff. Thank you to everyone at St. Jacques for making our visit to Paris so enjoyable.

We stayed here for a few nights at the start of our summer holiday and were not disappointed. The staff spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful, and the room was very nicely appointed with a comfortable bed and air conditioning. We also made use of their modest spa, which, while relatively small, was an enjoyable half hour out of the heat and a great way to refresh oneself.
The location was excellent, and we felt immersed in the culture of Paris, being roughly located between Notre Dame and the Pantheon.
I would heartily recommend anyone looking for somewhere to stay in this area to book here.

The staff here was extremely attentive and helpful, especially to 2 new visitors to France. They helped us with our room accommodations. The rooms are beautifully clean and comfortable. The location is excellent! It’s near all the restaurants, shops, and sites of the Latin Quarter.

Spent a long weekend in Paris here. Excellent hotel, great location for exploring Paris. Small and intimate but has everything you need - our room was a great size and we were given a beautiful room with a view of the pantheon and Notre dame from our balcony - just amazing! Cleans bright rooms with quirky french charm interiors. We also loved the ability to use the little “spa” after a busy day exploring Paris! We’ll be back!

A fantastic stay with incredibly helpful staff. Boutique oldie world hotel, clean and very comfortable. 5 minutes walk from Notre Dame. Some great restaurants and bars nearby. We stayed as a party of 9 in 5 rooms all different but similar standard. Would stay again.

Loved our stay here, great location beside the Latin Quarter. The rooms were spotless and every staff member had a smile on their face and were all so helpful from front of house to the cleaning staff. The health suite was brilliant too.

I loved how welcoming everyone was. They treated me as I was family and the rooms are gorgeous. The spa that is included with the cost of the room is also incredible. I did not do the breakfast buffet but it is an option.

So hard to fault this superb little hotel. Reasonable priced for such wonderful facilities - gorgeous rooms, a private spa slot (with snow-machine, steam room and sauna), beautiful street views from the balconies and what has to be the smiliest, most welcoming and helpful hotel staff in the city of Paris! We brought our daughter her with her best friend for her 18th birthday treat and they were certainly not disappointed with their little stay - from their classy balcony Deliveroos (happily leaving us to go and enjoy an evening at the amazing French restaurant next door!) to their private nightly spa sessions. Wonderful breakfast and only strides away from many of the Paris attractions or the nearest metro station.

The hotel is in an excellent location, with pretty, traditional rooms that are charmingly decorated. The staff was incredibly helpful, and they were very accommodating when we arrived at the hotel a few hours before check-in. The spa is a nice plus. Only ever slight criticism is that our bathroom was quite a bit smaller than it appeared online; however, it was certainly by no means a dealbreaker, and I'd be happy to return here.

We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is situated near the Notre Dam which is excellent. Bus/metro is walking distance. The moment you enter the hotel you'll be welcomed and feel welcome by the friendly staff. Hotel is very cute and charming. We had a room with a balcony which we loved. We'll definitely stay here again whenever we'll come back to Paris. Thank you to the kind gentleman who checked us in. My 5 y/o son still talks about how kind you were.

We had three rooms when we were here and all three were very comfortable and pleasant. The hotel has a quintessential Parisian feel in a nice neighborhood, that is well located to walk around the city. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. The rooms are not particularly large, but are well appointed and have nice balconies. We would stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay someplace that feels like Paris. There is also a nice market place just down to street.

Our single rooms were on the sixth floor (under the roof) and were perfectly laid out with ample space, bright decor, very clean and fresh and newly renovated shower room
