Art lovers will want to know that the Musée du Quai Branly is hosting its 100th exhibition. Primitive Picasso runs from March 28th to July 23rd, 2017. But first, from March 17th to 19th, the Grand Palais is the venue for the 8th edition of the Saut Hermès international show jumping competition. Just some of what awaits you in Paris during your delightful stay at the Hotel Saint-Jacques.

The hundredth exhibition at the Quai Branly is dedicated to Picasso

If you enjoy great art don’t hesitate to visit the Musée du Quai Branly - Jacques Chirac for the Primitive Picasso exhibition. This hundredth exhibition since the museum’s opening in 2006 retraces Pablo Picasso's links with non-Western arts. Noted for its focus on the indigenous art and cultures of Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas, the Musée du Quai Branly offers an original perspective on the work of the great Spanish artist through his interest and curiosity concerning the arts of other cultures, a relationship born of admiration, respect and fear. This museum by the Seine, close to the Eiffel Tower, also boasts impressive permanent collections from all over the world.

A new edition of the famous Saut Hermès at the Grand Palais

If you prefer show jumping to painting, head for the Grand Palais from March 17th to 19th, where the famous Hermès brand sponsors the 8th edition of the Saut Hermès, an exceptional sporting event! In addition to the competition, in which the world’s greatest equestrians will compete, the Saut Hermès will also host a spellbinding equestrian show, the Dream of Don Quixote. Another novelty this year will be an evening event on Saturday March 18th featuring the 5-star Prix du 24 Faubourg puissance class. In the magnificent surroundings of the Grand Palais, the Saut Hermès will impress you with the skills of the best riders and their magnificent mounts.
